Fitzroy Library

One of Australia’s oldest public libraries, Fitzroy Library is nestled beneath Fitzroy Town Hall, accessible via Moor Street.

Established in 1877, Fitzroy Library has a comprehensive local history collection, extensive Chinese, Vietnamese collections and a range of study, conversation and meeting spaces. The library has an extensive collection of works by First Nations authors and artists, and hosts regular literary events.
