Fitzroy Library

One of Australia’s oldest public libraries, Fitzroy Library is nestled beneath Fitzroy Town Hall, accessible via Moor Street.

Established in 1877, Fitzroy Library has a dedicated local history collection, a comprehensive Aboriginal collection, study areas and meeting spaces, a dedicated children’s area with gaming consoles, and collections in English, Chinese and Vietnamese.

Fitzroy Library is graciously funded by the Thomas, Samuel and George Ewing Trust.
