The Louis Joel Arts and Community Centre is a community owned and operated neighbourhood house located in Altona. We provide a diverse range arts, cultural and community activities including social activities, support groups, visual arts, textiles, writing, dance, music, cooking, culturally specific activities, gardening, and sustainable living. The Centre has a dedicated gallery space, which hosts exhibitions, events, and arts programs. The Centre also provides community information and referral to services and organisations, low-and no-cost meeting spaces for community groups. We also run a monthly repair cafe and deliver the social prescribing program Link to Wellness.
